Miss Erika Ruiz has an extended background as an educated family worker. She has over two decades of experience working with families and children in private and public school settings. She worked at Lyric Preschool for many years before opening Ruiz Family Child Care in 2011. She has authored a number of books which include: “How to say Goodbye/Como Decir Adios,” “But Why The Potty?” and “The Magic Closet.” She has a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit along with a BA in Social Science with a concentration on child development. She speaks English and Spanish, and has an updated CPR certificate. She provides a loving and positive setting for the children. She is finger print cleared and is a mandated reporter.’
